How Jeep Helped Give this Couple the Honeymoon of a Lifetime

Newlyweds, Vanessa Sartori and Linho Bergamin, had big plans for their honeymoon. It involved a lot of time, far off places they’d never been to, a vintage Wrangler, and about 400 people.

With the help of Jeep, family, and friends, the Brazilian couple started planning their adventure. They wanted to visit 70 countries on five continents, and they wanted to drive their 1946 Willys Wagon, a gem bought from a Brazilian museum.

Bergamin thinks it will be the oldest car to go around the world.

“I love the old Jeep,” he said, adding that, “It’s a fantastic experience of a lifetime.”

About 400 people at their wedding helped the couple decide where to go. Instead of traditional wedding gifts, they asked guests to choose a location along the route and donate money toward getting there. Sartori and Bergamin are creating a picture book of their trip with photos of the many places they’re going to visit so they can share them with everyone who made the journey possible.
